TYPOlight modules

TYPOlight webCMS can easily be extended with additional modules. One particular module called News allows you to manage news articles like the ones above. Each news article is part of a certain news archive. Go to module News (back end), open archive Music Academy News and take a look.

Module News includes four front end modules:

a. Module newslist: allows you to list a certain number of news articles (like the ones on this page)
b. Module newsreader: allows you to read a single news article
c. Module news archive: lists the content of a certain news archive
d. Module news archive menu: allows you to browse a news archive

Module News also includes four basic news layouts that are stored in the templates folder of the module (system/modules/news/templates). The news articles above are using layout news_short.

To view all news articles, please visit the Music Academy news archive. In fact, you will not find anything more than the news articles from above. However, you will get to know the basic functionality of a news archive.
